Ecochain Mobius is an online tool that can be used directly in your browser. Sign up by creating your user profile and start your free 14 day trial. No payment details are required.
After signing up, you create your account and a workspace. Model your first product and calculate your first LCA in Ecochain Mobius.
Refine and improve your work. Find impact hotspots and check your assumptions. Use of the Scenario and Comparison features to test out alternative materials and processes.
Share your first results with colleagues, clients or suppliers. Invite others to work with you in your Mobius workspace.
The free trial allows you to find out how Mobius works. Scenarios can be drawn up, impact references can be searched in databases, questions can be asked to experts, and you can look at how a full life cycle can be modeled & modified. It functions as a free training to learn more about environmental measurements and how you can start measuring LCAs in an easy way.
The features are the same as for the paid Mobius account. The only difference is the #references you can take from our impact (LCI) database Ecoinvent. This holds a maximum of 10 references in the free trial.
The free trial lasts a total of 14 consecutive days. The user of the free trial can add 10 reference points from our environmental impact databases in these 14 days.
Yes! The Mobius tool has the ability to add all life cycle stages to a product. From production to the end-of life. (Cradle-to-grave & Cradle-to-cradle)
Mobius is very suitable as an Ecodesign tool. In the tool, you can create scenarios to see if current and or future products can be improved. For example, think of changing weights, processes, or adding whole new (sustainable) materials.
In the free Mobius trial it is possible to link 10 reference points to raw materials and processes. The impact database is Ecoinvent, which is regarded as one of the most relevant impact databases available – worldwide.
We have recorded several tutorial videos that give our users more information about how the tool works- and what exactly you can do with it. You can find them in our Help Center.
