The data you don’t own: working with suppliers on product footprinting<\/h2>\n

A small-group conversation for practitioners whose footprint mostly sits in someone else’s factory.<\/em><\/p>\n

Most of your product’s impact happens long before the material reaches your door. Which means most of your LCA rests on data you can’t generate yourself, and you have to ask for it.<\/p>\n

Requests go unanswered. Spreadsheets come back half-filled, or filled with numbers nobody can trace back to a source. Some suppliers treat process data as commercially sensitive. Others genuinely don’t have it. And if you’re not a major account, you don’t have much leverage to push with.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile the requirements keep tightening. PCF requests from customers, EPDs for tenders, digital product passports on the horizon, all of them landing on the same fragile foundation of supplier data.<\/p>\n

This session is about what actually works.<\/p>\n
